| Ladder-Line was unavailable for some
time. The original manufacturing plant closed and the Ham Radio community was
about to be left without a source for Ladder-Line. Fortunately, it is now back
in limited production. The version with #14 conductors has been released first
and the version with #16 conductors will follow. That's the good
news. The other news is that the price has increased by about 25%. Still, that is better than not being able to have Ladder-Line available at all. |

We now have a new heavy-duty, poly- coated, window-type, Ladder-Line. Actually impedance is approximately. 420 ohms. Conductors are #16 stranded copper-clad wire which when properly installed gives this transmission line a long life and a power rating that far exceed the legal limit. |
This is the most terrific Ladder-line I have seen. Conductors are #14 stranded Copper-weld. Due to the large #14 conductors, the characteristic impedance is around 390 ohms. In all other respects, it is identical to the #16 Ladder-line. |
RECOMMENDATIONS:Use this Super Ladder-line in any standard Ladder Line application. If you need heavy- duty, rugged, long life ladder-line, use this type. Stay away from balanced transmission line with solid wire conductors. They break easily. |
RECOMMENDATIONS:Use this monster-size Ladder-line in any standard Ladder Line application. |
